I recently slipstreamed XP SP3 into a new image, and only found out after the install that the file I downloaded to slipstream was corrupt and had to start over. I wish Intel would quit moving stuff on their site!

Thank you very much…. The hard drive will be detected without having to press F6, and the network gatewqy and video card will work out of the box. XP sound drivers for MX…. Anyhoo…thanks again for your invaluable help. The price may be the seller’s own price elsewhere or another seller’s price.
The “off” amount and percentage simply signifies the calculated difference between the seller-provided price for the item elsewhere and the seller’s price on eBay.
I made restore points after every driver install and had to do a rollback or 2 but in the end everything was perfect and the machine works great with the full resolution and all the whimwhams and doodads. Show More Show Less.
Make a new XP CD: Find the other Gateway drivers I managed to find a laptop in the 64xx series that had most of the same internals, and XP drivers…: So it can be done.

As this item is used, some signs of normal wear and tear could be present. Wow — slow reply on this one. Jeremy, you got me thinking about the files issue,so I just kept going back and forth between Gateway, Intel and Schrock.

You may have a hardware problem, or your source XP CD may be bad is it a copy? I am not sure if I have the correct versions. gatewxy

Can you provide links to known files that do work? The lowest-priced item that has been used or worn previously. This item doesn’t belong on this page. Had it on at one point but was missing so many drivers, it was causing issues, so I ended up reverting back to Vista much to my dismay! Feel free to contribute!
